Dispatch Limited is back for 2023 and is proud to present this special two-track release from SMP and Tephra. SMP is passionate about drum and bass that’s packed with soulful depth and musicality. With releases on Intrigue, Fokuz, Context Audio and Celcius he makes the perfect collaborative partner for Tephra, who will be well known to fans of Dispatch Recordings.

“Closure”, featuring the talents of London based singer songwriter Pepper, weaves haunting melodies with ethereal jazz soaked vocals for a slick liquid roller with lush bass and driving twostep.

“The Skies Above” made its debut on BBC 1’s Drum & Bass show in early 2023, with Sweetpea giving this tune its first airing. Atmospheric and immersive, with progressive drum work that guides the listener through rolling clouds and breaking light, filtered echoes of sun are met with deep bass and rolling snares.
